FACULTY
The DNHMERCI Faculty has an International teaching staff of Homoeopathic Medical Doctors and University Professors.

Dr. Leelamma Nielsen, D.M.S., H.D. President and Executive Director
Dr. Nielsen holds a Doctor of Medical Science, Doctor of Homoeopathy degree. She received her education at the Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital in India, holds diplomas in Homoeopathic Medicine, Surgery and Midwifery.

Dr. Ray Lendvai, ND Registrar
Dr. Lendvai is a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (Toronto, 1991). He practiced in Winnipeg for many years and was the Registrar of the Naturopathic Association of Manitoba. He is currently practicing in Vernon, B.C.

Dr. Shashi Kant Tiwari, D.M.S. DIP, N.I.H. Dean of Education
Dr. Tiwari is the Principal & Medical Superintendent of Father Muller's Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital. He is the author of Homoeopathy and Child Care and Essentials of Repertorization. He is an outstanding scholar with over 20 years of practice and teaching experience. Dr Tiwari is a member of numerous Homoeopathic associations. He is examiner for Postgraduate as well as Degree courses in Homoeopathy conducted by various universities in India.


Dr. Brenda Maxwell, MD, Msc., CCFP Education and Research
Dr. Maxwell is an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba. She trains physicians in Family Medicine at Kildonan Medical Centre and Seven Oaks Hospital. She is committed to community service, serving on the Executive of the Provincial Council of Women. She represented the Bahai Community at the Fourth World Conference on Women and continues her commitment to women's health through service with UNPAC (United Nations Platform for Action Committee).

Dr. S. Halli PhD. Research Department
Dr. S. Halli is a Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Manitoba, and holds extensive professional positions and experience. He held the position as Research Statistician at the University of Western Ontario and was later the Biostatistician and Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Calgary (Alberta), Department of Community Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Halli has received several awards within his field and has authored several books and research journals.

Dr. Shoshana Scott, D.M.S., H.D. Education and Government Negotiator
Dr. Scott is a graduate of DNHMERCI and has completed the Extended Training Program from the Father Muller's Homoeopathic College and Hospital in Mangalore, India. She has her own practice in Homoeopathy in Winnipeg and also attends our satellite clinics in Manitoba.

Dr. Valerie Squire, D.M.S., H.D. Program Coordinator of Education
Dr. V. Squire is a graduate of DNHMERCI and has completed the Extended Training Program from the Father Muller's Homoeopathic College and Hospital in Mangalore, India. She has a background in respiratory and one of the associate doctors at Nielsen's Homoeopathic Clinic. As well as being Program Coordinator of Education at DNHMERCI she also attends satellite clinics in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

VISITING PROFESSORS:

Dr. Mahendra Singh, D.M.S., M.B.S.
Dr. M. Singh is the Chairman of the Education Committee of the Central Council of Homoeopathy, Government of India. He is Professor, Vice Principal and Deputy Superintendent, Head of the Department of Organon of Medicine and Chronic Diseases and History of Medicine at the Calcutta Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Government of West Bengal, India. He is the Medical Examiner of several Medical Colleges in India and author of many books on Homoeopathic subjects.
Dr. Singh brings over 37 years of practice and teaching experience.

Dr. Shrinath Rao, BHMS
Dr. Rao is professor, vice-principal, and head of the department of Homoeopathic Materia Medica at Father Muller's Homeopathic Medical College & Hospital in Mangalore, India.

Dr. D. P. Rastogi, M.A., D.M.S., M.B.S, D.F. Hom.
Dr. Rastogi was formerly the Director of the Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy and Principal, Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital. He is a member of the International Advisory Board - Journal of Alternative Therapies U.S.A., and member of Advisory Board - British Homoeopathic Journal. He was Honorary Physician to the President of India (1988 - 1992).

The following instructors are involved with other colleges in Canada and have extensive background in Homoeopathy.

Dr. Ron Harris, H.D.
Dr. Harris has practiced Homoeopathy for more than sixty years and is the oldest and most respected Homoeopathic doctor in Canada. He founded the Canadian Institute of Homoeopathic Medicine and his teachings have enriched and enlightened many lives encompassing government, general public and consumers alike. His vision to unite Homoeopaths across Canada resulted in the founding of the Canadian Coalition of Homoeopathic Medicine. He sits as an Advisor on the Expert Advisory Committee for Natural Health Products, Government of Canada and is an Advisor to the Canadian Coalition for Homoeopathic Medicine.


Jean Lacombe Centre de Techniques Homeopathique
Jean Lacombe has practiced and taught Homoeopathy for 17 years. His Homoeopathic school was the first in Canada to open its doors in 1986. He has organized several international Homoeopathic conferences and has been invited to speak in several countries.

Dr. Fernando Ania, H.D. The Homoeopathic College of Canada
Dr. Ania is the President of The Homoeopathic College of Canada. He started the first Homoeopathic Education Centre in Toronto. He is an educator and practicing Homoeopath with many years experience.

Dr. Alex Mostovoy, H.D. Homeopathic Medical Council of Canada (HMCC)
Dr. Mostovoy is the President and Founder of The Homeopathic Medical Council of Canada (HMCC). He is President and Chairperson of The Canadian Coalition for Homoeopathic Medicine (CCHM). He is a practicing Homoeopath who is committed to see Homoeopathy as a medical profession. He is actively involved in negotiations with government and media to this end.


Red River College
The Allied Health Science Courses are taught by the faculty of Red River College. The Homoeopathic subjects are taught by the DNHMERCI faculty.
